FORMATION is the lifelong process of growing in our relationship with God, self, others, and all creation.
We believe that every experience in our lives forms us. We also believe that every experience in our lives offers us the opportunity to practice Christ-likeness. For those reasons, we spend some of our time together reflecting on and processing our life events to see how we are being formed and how we are practicing Christ-likeness in our everyday lives.
In addition to that, we actively engage in individual and group practices such as prayer, study of scripture, reading and reflecting, group conversation, solitude, retreat, service, gardening, shared meals etc… all for the purpose of being formed.
Brendan’s Crossing is a Christ-focused Episcopal Service Corps community with an “Episcopal Ethos” that remains open to ALL young adults regardless of belief or religious affiliation. We have a strong commitment to “Forming Young Adults in Christ for the Sake of the World.”
One of our primary modes of FORMATION is SERVICE.
